That's the spirit we're capturing with our handmade, sustainable fashion. We are dedicated to creating a safe space where everyone can wear the clothes that make them feel like their true selves.
Our fun and playful clothing is for anyone who knows clothes have no gender, color is good for the soul, and all bodies are good bodies.

Hi! I'm Kali (she/her), the creator of Dottie & Mae. I'm a self taught fashion designer with a passion for sustainability. I'm a mama of two little girls and one 10lb fur baby named Peanut. I believe everyone should be encouraged to express their true authentic selves through their clothing, that boys can love unicorns and girls can love dinosaurs, and everyone could benefit from a little more dopamine dressing.
I started Dottie & Mae by making children's clothing, but I have realized that my true passion lies in creating clothes for adults that express joy and playfulness.

Gender is a construct and you will never see our clothing separated by it. Girls can love dinosaurs and boys can wear dresses.

For every semicolon butterfly sticker that is sold, one sticker will be donated to the Sacramento LGBT Community Center’s Q Spot, a safe space for queer youth in our community.
